Toddler Sandals

Start them off with the Newport H2 for toddlers and they’ll be part of the KEEN legacy from their first steps into the wild. With a supportive, durable sole, breathable upper, and parent-friendly bungee-and-strap closure, the Newport H2 is a convenient, comfortable, and (we think) darn cute sandal for toddlers.

For an even lighter and more flexible option, the Seacamp II CNX features our lightest tread compound in the sole. Since many shoes get clunky and difficult to manage in smaller sizes, the Seacamp II CNX is a great solution to help your toddler explore without shoes that weigh them down.

Toddler Hiking Shoes

We all know the kiddo who wanted to hit the trail as soon as they could stand, and if you’re the parent of one you know they need real shoes. We love the Chandler CNX, which (like the Seacamp CNX) features our lightest and most flexible sole. The upper is a breathable mesh, and you get the same easy-on bungee-and-strap closure for comfort and security. With sneaker styling, the Chandler CNX is designed to keep up with the most curious and mobile toddlers.

Slip-Ons & Boots for Toddlers

For really chilly weather, we recommend the Kootenay boot, which features a grippy sole and a cozy fleece lining. A simple strap closure makes it a breeze to put on, and it’ll keep their little feet warm whether they’re trekking around on their own or hitching a ride in your arms. Real leather uppers offer good durability and water resistance, so the Kootenay boot could be one you pass on to the next toddler in your family.

When it comes to pure ease of wearing, we love the Mary Jane styles, which feature a nice wide opening to help eliminate the guessing game of getting little feet into shoes. The Pep Mary Jane is made with playfully colored leather for a touch of mountain style, and the Moxie Mary Jane features a mesh upper for easy drying on watery adventures.

We also love the Pep fisherman-style sandal, which has webbing pull tabs in both the ankle and heel for easy on and off.
